Welcome to my portfolio!

My name is Farzaneh Shahini and I'm a PhD candidate in Human Factors and Ergonomics with a minor in Applied Statistics at Texas A&M University. I graduated with a bachelor's in industrial engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2019.

Currently, I work as a mixed method UX researcher in human-system interaction lab at Texas A&M University. My research includes performing statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze human needs, emotions, behavior, and decision. I have extensive experience with human-centered research including subjective responses (think-aloud, interview, survey, focus group meeting, field studies, diary studies), performance/behavioral measurements (performance,, observation, body tracking, eye tracking), and user experience analysis (design of experiment, data collection, data analysis and visualization). Interested in a job working on human factor, mixed-methods UX, or cognitive ergonomic design issues in technology.
